My first Palace game was back in 1994 and what a introduction to the EAGLES it was. It was the 1st of May, a Sunday and the first division championship was up for grabs. In a seesaw match at the old Ayresome Park the mighty PALACE eventually ran out 3-2 winners to clinch the title under Alan Smith. 

One of the most eagerly awaited derbies against the seaweeds took place at Selhurst Park on the 26th Oct 2002. It is always immensely satisfying to beat your most hated rivals but to do so in such convincing fashion, by a five goal margin was just simply awesome.
